Stump Grinding

We offer stump grinding and removal and have specialist machinery to do this.

After a tree or hedge has been removed, you will usually be left with an unsightly tree stump. Not only is it unsightly but also it can be a host to unwanted fungi such as honey fungus, which can spread to your healthy trees and kill them very quickly. Or you may wish to erect a fence, put in a patio, paving, new lawn, conservatory etc.

Sid Valley Tree Surgery has a specialist machine to remove any size tree stump to a depth of 24″ below ground level. This machine only requires access of 28″.

We also tidy up well after grinding a stump, and minimise damage to surrounding plants and shrubs with the sue of guards.
